History Enthusiasts Take Notes - Hinduja Foundation Releases Book Featuring Ancient Coins
Coin collectors and history enthusiasts have a reason to cheer as India’s leading conglomerate Hinduja Group along with their promoter Hinduja family, has decided to undertake humungous task of work in the direction of preserving the world’s most populous nation’s rich heritage and culture in collaboration with local authorities and state governments in the country.

In a recent important development, Yogi Adityanath, who is custodian of one of India’s ancient temples, Gorakhanath Temple, and also the Chief Minister of India’s politically important state of Uttar Pradesh, participated in a book launch at his residence.

Important members of the Hinduja Family, including Prakash Hinduja and his brother Ashok Hinduja, were also present on the occasion.
"The Book titled ‘Early North India and its Coinage’ is a result of the efforts taken by the Hinduja Foundation under the guidance and patronage of the Hinduja Family," said a senior government official present at the event.

Recently, the Archaeological Survey of India, which works under the aegis of India’s cultural ministry, has also taken various measures in preserving over 3500 monuments and ancient archaeological sites that attract historians and archaeologists from around the world. India is filled with precious ancient treasures ranging from the Barabar Caves, which stand tall on the twin hills of Barabar and Nagarjuna in Bihar, with their smooth, glass-like finish granite interiors, to the Taj Mahal, regarded as the symbol of eternal love and affection, while showcasing India’s engineering marvels.

The government’s conservation initiatives reflect its efforts to safeguard history for the coming generations to witness. It shows that it treasures the rich history of India that goes beyond textbooks and strengthens its position as a state filled with cultural pride.

Under such pressing need for conserving the country’s unique offerings, the Hinduja Foundation’s newly unveiled launch of the book depicting ancient coins deserves praise and acts as a brilliant example for other corporate and business legacy houses to follow suit. Such initiatives are crucial in today’s day and age, where more importance and investments are flowing towards futuristic technology. The need to understand the importance of preservation of history and culture is urgent. Without history, it is impossible to understand where mankind came from. The foundation’s efforts cannot go unnoticed, especially when it is run under the guidance of esteemed personalities like Prakash Hinduja. Geneva is a global center for diplomacy and humanitarian collaboration, and the foundation's commitment to impactful philanthropy can involve international partnerships that can help preserve the history of not just India but Europe as well.
